I dunno. For some reason I felt like drawing a woman in a sun hat. I did this with my new Graphire3 4x5 Tablet. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it.

This is a drawing of Flechette, the bad teen with the razor sharp, indestructible hair. She's not really bad, she just has...issues. Funny story with this pic. I drew her on the background by mistake, so I had to make the wall pattern on the foreground and erase parts where Flechette should be in front of the wall. Talk about doing things the hard way!

I was feeling flowery for some reason. Also, I wanted to try out my notebook's touchpad on this thing. I wouldn't do portraits with it, but for impressionistic work, it's pretty good.
The animation function on this thing is pretty neat. Basically, it records your drawing process. When you're done, you can watch as your drawing is recreated in mere moments. It's like some phantom artist is doing your drawing very fast! You know, it just dawned on me that a trillium only has three petals. Hence the name. So, I don't know what kind of flower this really is. Any suggestions? (Uploaded by NCWeber) |
